S2 cell responsiveness to insulin

Hello,

I have trouble getting S2 Drosophila melanogaster stimulated by insulin.I
have tried a number of Western blots but they did not show any significant
difference compared to the control. Does anyone know why it is that my cells
are not responding?Any possible suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
