This hands on course shows you how to work with the new Mac OS X desktop and the built-in Mac OS X applications. Learn how to configure and customize your Mac to fit your individual needs including setting up printing, sharing your Mac with other users, setting up your Mac for network and Internet access and using the Internet. Also covers Mac OS X Mail for email and iChat for instant messaging. Learn how to set up and configure stand-alone Mac OSX workstations to access network-based services. This course also provides the skills, tools, and knowledge necessary to install and configure Mac OSX Server v10.2 to manage multiple Mac OSX users and provide network-based services such as email, printing, and file sharing. A combination of lecture, demonstrations, and hands on practice exercises provide practical real world experience. Prepares student for Apple Certified Technical Coordinator exam.
