[Cell-biology] doubling time of cell culture

Does anyone know if we want to label T lymphocytes what markers do we use
for flow.

I would appreciate if someone could tell how the doubling time should be
calculated when one is cultivating a mamalian cell line.  I believe there
should be some special forms for the calculations of generation numbers,
doubling time, growth rate etc..
