The sequence published by Fong and Surzycki (1992) does not
contain the highly conserved 3' end of the rpoC2 gene. The ARS element is
located on EcoRI #10 which is downstream of the sequence Fong and Surzycki
reported. It appears that either the two regions are separated by a large
intron or that there may be trans-splicing.
