There have been a couple of messages in the last few days regarding
availability of cDNA and genomic libraries. Budget constraints prevent us
from maintaining and distributing a selection of libraries at the
Chlamydomonas Genetics Center. However, I would be happy to compile a list
of libraries that are available from individuals and post it on the gopher
server. If you have a library that you're willing to share, please send me
the following information:
type of library - cDNA/genomic, vector, complexity, etc.
cell type used - vegetative, gametes, whatever
references to publications citing this library
your address, phone/fax/e-mail access
Details of shipping and reimbursement can be worked out between senders and
recipients. It seems to me, though, that it should be understood in
advance that the recipient will pay all shipping costs and perhaps some
additional compensation to the sender.
