Is it possible to use a guanidinium isothiocyanate method to extract
nucleic acids from chlyamdomonas?
Also, I am a beginning graduate student and I am looking for a cDNA
library to use to screen to help us isolate the lamin gene(s) in
chlamydomonas. Is there one avaliable? How can I get my hands on one
without major expense ?
I am new at this aspect of science and would appreciate any help and
suggestions that I can get. Thanks in advance.
