Does anyone know of a currently-available commercial source of SDS for
SDS-PAGE analysis of flagellar/axonemal proteins that reliably gives a nice
separation (in one dimension) of Chlamydomonas alpha and beta tubulin? I
remember using a supposedly "magic" batch of old Baker SDS while in Joel
Rosembaum's lab at Yale that everyone said was like a fine vintage wine.
Sigma SDS just dosn't do it. Thanks in advance for your replies,
