Dear Netters,
I would like to isolate mRNA from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii without inter-
mediate total RNA preparation. For this purpose I thought to use the Oligotex
direct mRNA Kit provided by Qiagen. Does anyone has experiences with this kit
or with another one ? I only know that people working with animal tissues have
reached good results with these kinds of kits. So if anyone has experiences
with the preparation of mRNA in Chlamydomonas by this way I would be happy
to hear about it.
