Postdoctoral Position
Biotechnology - Crop Improvement Group
Ceregen - a business unit of Monsanto

A postdoctoral position is available to study and engineer crop plants 
for improvements in carbohydrate metabolism.   The project focuses on 
key metabolic pathways that are important for grain yield in cereal 
crops.  Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. degree and have 
research experience in the areas of biochemistry and molecular biology.   
EXPERTISE IN A PLANT SYSTEM IS NOT REQUIRED AND APPLICANTS WITH RELEVANT 
SKILLS FROM RESEARCH IN OTHER ORGANISMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. The 
position is one of approximately 25 postdoctoral positions in Ceregen.  
The successful applicant will be part of a multifuntional team 
encompassing plant metabolism, plant transformation, plant physiology, 
applied genetics and food quality.  Competitive salary, incentive plan
