Postdoctoral Position Available - Molecular Biology of Gene
Expression in Chlamydomonas
Seeking a recent PhD with cell and molecular biology
experience to work on a collaborative project between the laboratories of
Drs. Robert Bloodgood (Department of Cell Biology) and
Michael Timko (Department of Biology) at the University of Virginia,
Charlottesville, focussing on the molecular genetic characterization of the
major flagellar membrane glycoprotein in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.
Experience with cell transformation and genetic analysis highly desirable.
Position is available beginning September 1, 1996.
