I've never tried to do tetrads with this strain myself, although I have
verified that it does mate with CC-125. There are some suggestions for
trouble-shooting poor mating reactions on p. 173 of the Chlamy Sourcebook.
In particular, have you checked to see that you can get satisfactory mating
and tetrad viability from a control cross, e.g. CC-125 x CC-124?
