For those of you who saw the "Is your computer being bugged" message, and
wondered if anything has happened with respect to moderating
bionet.chlamydomonas: The wheels have been set in motion, but it will
probably be a couple of weeks before it takes effect.
This particular message also appeared yesterday on
bionet.molbio.genbank.updates, which is a moderated group, so we may not be
entirely safe from such things in the future. Still, I think moderation
will help reduce the level of irrelevant messages, and I hope it won't
inconvenience anyone.
