Saul Purton and I are currently preparing a review for the Journal of
Phycology. This review will focus on the progress in, and prospects for,
transformation in eukaryotic algae. Obviously most of the work has been
done in Chlamydomonas and Volvox but there are now reports of
transformation of other algal species. We are anxious not to overlook
anything that we have missed in our literature searches so if you have
any preprints, recent reprints or unpublished results that you would like
cited then please get in touch.
Our deadline for the submission of the manuscript is 31 March.
