The phycological community will be saddened to hear that Dr Hanus Ettl
died in Pulpecen, Czech Republic, on 22 February 1997. The funeral took
place on Friday 28th. Hanus, who is survived by his wife Olga and two
sons, will be remembered as an eminent phycologist, and those who knew
him will miss his friendship.
