Hi,
We are considering inserting a myc epitope into a C. reinhardtii gene and
transforming this recombinant clone back into cells. Ultimately, we'd
like to use antibodies against this epitope for immunolocalization.
Anybody have such experience with myc tagging C. reinhardtii proteins?
Are there endogenous proteins that are recognized as antigenic by anti-myc
antibodies (by Western analysis, immunofluorescence, or another method)?
How realistic is our approach?
