Fellow Chlamy researchers,
Our lab does our routine nuclear transformations by
the Silicon carbide whisker method of Dunahay (1993). We are
currently running low on the SiC fibers and need to order some more.
The original supplier of the fibers was the Tokai Carbon Company has
apparently closed its US office, and attempts to contact the Tokyo
headquarters have not met with success.
So, does anyone out there use this method?
And if so, is there an alternative source for the fibers?
