A tenure track position available
at the Albert Katz Department of Dryland Biotechnologies (DDB)

The DDB is offering a position for a scientist with a strong background in
Plant Physiology and/or Plant Molecular Biology. He will work with other
members in the department studying adaptation mechanisms of plants to arid
environmental conditions. The specific goals will be to research the
response of plants to the desert environment and/or the special conditions
found in controlled greenhouses. The specific effect of carbon dioxide
enrichment, temperature extremes as well as other related growth physiology
problems that plants encounter growing in such conditions will also be part
of the mission.

tentative work plan (1-2 pages) describing how you would approach the above
issues.
