We have a full-time visiting assistant professor position available for
the Spring Semester. The position is to teach either Cell Biology or Plant
Physiology. The Cell Biology course includes one sophomore-level lecture
section and three labs for the course. The Plant Physiology course
includes one junior-level lecture section and two labs for the course as
well as an additional lab section in either Cell Biology or Molecular
Biology (depending on interest and experience).
The University of Puget Sound is a primarily undergraduate institution
with an enrollment of 2500 undergraduates and 150 graduate students in
three masters programs in the professional schools (that is, there are no
graduate students in Biology). The school is located in a residential part
of Tacoma, Washington.
