[Chlamydomonas] transformation of walled cells

Hello Chlamydomaniacs,

Is anyone doing, or did at one time, nuclear transformation of Chlamy 
using walled cells as the recipient (e.g., with SiCW, biolistics, etc)?
Also, does anyone have a source for silicon carbide whiskers (SiCW)?
