Hello Chlamy group,
Does anyone have a suggestion for some type of marker (dye, stain,
antibody, etc...) to distinguish Chlamydomonas reinhardtii gametes from
vegetative cells that are suspended together in liquid culture (without
having to do a visual check - and without having to add cells of the
opposite mating type to produce a mating reaction)?
Or another somewhat fast & simple method for distinguishing the two, that
would accomodate a high-throughput project?
Thank you,
