microscopy esp. with respect to the reconstruction
of 3-dimensional structures, from a stack of
optical slices, using a point-spread function to
perform deconvolution subtracting out out-of-plane
contributions to the image slice
* public domain (freeware) or commercial software
running on Unix workstations to perform the above
