I had once such a disappointing experience with that kind of model. In
fact I remembered that iodine must be used at a cold temperature,
otherwise it is decoloured by heat.
That's to say, you can get a pretty looking graph without any starch
(and any digestion)! Simply plot a curve like optical density in
function of temperature...
Maybe your problem is different, too!
