Hi,
I'm not a programmer but would like to begin working with cellular
automata as a means of modeling ecosystem dynamics. I know that both
Mathematica and MatLab have been used for CAs. Does anyone care to
recommend one over the other? Also -- any good texts for either program
that can get me up and running quickly?
