Call for Papers CPM 2000

The 11th Annual Symposium on Combinatorial Pattern Matching,
Universite de Montreal, June 21-23, 2000.
(To be preceded by a 2-day Summer School.)

Papers in all areas related to combinatorial pattern matching and
its applications will be considered, including, but not limited to:
* string algorithms * pattern recognition * text searching
* applications in molecular biology * data mining
* information retrieval * coding and data compression.
* symbolic computing * natural language processing
Proceedings will be published by Springer, in Lecture Notes in
Computer Science. Simultaneous submission of the same paper
to another conference with published proceedings not allowed.

Submissions

Authors should submit an extended abstract (not a full paper),
not exceeding 10 single-spaced pages on A4 (or US letter) paper,
including references, figures, title, authors, affiliations, e-mail
addresses, and a short (1 paragraph) abstract. Use reasonable
margins and at least 11-point font.
Use the LaTeX style file supplied by Springer Verlag for LNCS:
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html. Final proceedings
papers must be camera-ready in this format, in any case.
Authors should submit their extended abstracts electronically, see
http://sigact.csci.unt.edu/~cpm2000/CPM2000.html . Disregard
only the ACM style requirements in favour of the LNCS format.
Abstract must be received by 5 pm, January 7, 2000 (firm deadline).
Notification: February 11. Final camera-ready revision by March 31.
