I am a new guy in this field. Please forgive my mistakes if I made something wrong. As far as I know, the human genome is almost completely known. However, it seems that it has 9x% the same as fruit fly (right?). What I want to know is why there are so big different among these 2 as we only have a few percentage difference? Thanks.
