Dear all
I have developed a particle tracker to serve as a tool for quantitative
biological imaging. The demo version of the software can be downloaded
freely on my new website: http://www.semasopht.com. The software allows
quantifying the movement of moving targets e.g. inside living cells (you get
all the trajectories of your fluorescently labelled proteins, vesicles,
viruses, speckles ...). It also provides a panel of post-processing tools to
exploit this information in various ways. For example, you can filter the
displacement field to get accurate measurments of the average local motion,
or you can analyse where particles have been created or destroyed, or your
can make profiles showing the evolution of the velocity field in selected
directions or ....
The software accepts time lapse image sequences of images in virtually any
format. It is stand-alone, under windows, can be installed very easily, and
should be very easy to use. Thank you for trying it out; your feedback is
very much appreciated. Sincerely
Pascal
