Cancellations have created a few openings for students at the
Gordon-Kenan Summer School (GKSS) in Risk Analysis from August 3-15 in
Bristol, RI. Class size is limited to fifty students to accommodate
space in the computer classrooms.

The cost is $1,166.00 for the two weeks, including room and board. The
daily schedule will follow the familiar Gordon Research Conference
format, with lectures in the mornings and evenings, and afternoons
free. In addition, the GKSS will break between the two weeks of the
course from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Each student will
receive five texts at the beginning of the course for background reading

(and to take home). Other than basic algebra, the course has no
prerequisites. However, instruction will move in a fast paced way,
after a basic start. Apply for admission at www.grc.org by following
the GKSS foil or go to
http://www.grc.org/programs/2003/risk.htm and look at the bottom of the
page.
