DroSpeGe, a genome database with comparative annotations of 12 Drosophila
species genomes is available at http://insects.eugenes.org/species/

This service provides a preview of newly sequenced Drosophila genomes,
with genome maps and BLAST sequence search, for these species:
 D. ananassae, D. erecta, D. grimshawi, D. melanogaster, D. mojavensis,
 D. pseudoobscura, D. simulans, D. virilis, D. yakuba
These are still pending availability of genome assembly:
 D. persimilis, D. sechellia, D. willistoni

Genome maps include D. melanogaster genome homology, homologies to
nine eukaryote proteomes, marker gene locations, and Drosophila
microsatellites. Current genome assemblies can be BLASTed, with links
to genome maps of your BLAST matches. Annotation data are available in
Gene Finding Format (GFF) for these whole genome comparisons.

Comment a comparative genomicist:
> BTW, I REALLY like what you have done with insects.eugenes.org/species/maps/

DroSpeGe comparative Drosophila species genome database is public
service for use by the biosciences community, from the Genome
Informatics Lab, Indiana Universty, and is supported by grants from
NIH and Sun Microsystems to D. Gilbert. It runs on a Sun Microsystems
SunFire V20z with Solaris10.
