This is to announce an opening at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering's
Information Sciences Institute (ISI), located in Marina del Rey, California,
overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This is one of the world's leading research
centers in the fields of computer science and information technology.
Researchers and teams in ISI's Intelligent Systems Division have received
numerous honors for their work.

We are currently assembling a team of bioinformatics specialists with
expertise in knowledge engineering, natural language processing, and
systems-level biology. Our objective is to devise and build knowledge
engineering solutions that apply state-of-the-art computer science research
directly to experimental biologists working at the bench.

We currently have an opening for a programmer to work in direct
collaboration with bioinformatics specialists, biologists and
computer-scientists. Primary emphasis will be concerned with interactions
with the primary research literature, so a working knowledge of general
biology (with any specialization in neuroscience) will be essential.
