University of Rochester's Biomedical Informatics Program seeks
post-doctoral fellows to work in the areas of biomedical data
integration, process knowledge management, and informatics service
integration. Prospective candidates must hold a doctoral degree in
biomedical informatics, computer science, or other quantitative
sciences. The candidate will participate in a multi-disciplinary team
to conduct biomedical informatics research in an exciting environment
within the newly created Clinical and Translational Science Institute
at University of Rochester. Available resources include various
clinical and translational research databases and clinical trial
systems at University of Rochester, clinical data repository and
clinical information systems at Strong Health, and diversified faculty
expertise in biomedical data management, process knowledge
representation, clinical decision support, data mining, and
statistical/mathematical modeling. With the expansion of the Biomedical
Informatics Program, there is a potential that excellent candidates
will be promoted to permanent academic appointments in the near future.
