CIBCB 2007
IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence in
Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
April 1-5, 2007, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
LATEST NEWS: The submission deadline for the accepted special
sessions is NOVEMBER 8th:
1. Special Session on Fuzzy Systems in Bioinformatics
2. Special Session on Computational Intelligence in Biomedical Engineering
The submission website will remain open after the special session
deadline and after the regular paper deadline (Oct. 31st) and papers
will be reviewed on a time/reviewer availability basis.
We look forward to receiving your high quality submissions, for the
regular session and/or the special sessions, discussing the latest
advances in the field of computational intelligence and their
application to real-world problems in biology.
Relevant topics include but are not limited to:
gene expression array analysis,
RNA structure prediction
protein folding and structure prediction,
protein-protein interaction
motif and pattern detection,
drug design,
binding site prediction,
molecular sequence alignment,
sequence analysis,
disease informatics,
metabolic pathway analysis,
gene regulatory networks,
microarray analysis,
medical imaging and pattern recognition,
analysis of large biological data sets,
phylogenetic tree reconstruction and analysis,
gene ontology (GO),
cell simulation and modelling,
ecological modeling,
biological theory
The use of computational intelligence should play a substantial role
in submitted papers. Submissions will be peer reviewed and accepted
papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Authors are
expected to present their paper at the symposium.
Please see the CIBCB web site for submission details and the latest
