The Indy Bioinformatics Conference is a midwest regional conference aiming
to bring together the community of researchers in computational biology and
bioinformatics. Although the conference is regional, the conference is
open to everyone from all locales. The 2007 conference will be held on
May 31st - June 2nd at the IUPUI Conference Center, in Indianapolis,
Indiana. Some of this years features include invited talks, keynote
lectures, and selected talks from submitted abstracts. Building upon
success of three previous meetings, INDY07 extends to a regional meeting
where bioinformatics researchers from the midwest region will discuss
current research projects and collaboration opportunities. A subset of
submitted abstracts will be selected for short talks, while all reviewed
abstracts will be selected for posters.

Abstracts are requested in any area of biocomputional research including:
*Phylogenomics and sequence analysis
*Integration of medical informatics and bioinformatics
*Computational biology
*Evolutionary biology
*Statistical genetics
*Structural bioinformatics
*High performance computing in biology
*Analysis of high throughput technologies
*Systems biology
*Drug discovery
