CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
6th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research
and Applications (ISBRA'10)
May 23-26, 2010

The organizers of the 2010 International Symposium on
Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA 2010) invite
proposals for joint workshops. Workshop organizers will be
responsible for forming a program committee, preparing a call
for papers, reviewing submissions, and selecting the papers to
be presented at the workshop. Joint workshops will be advertised
through the ISBRA website and mailing list.
Joint workshops are expected to focus on recent research
directions and initiatives in Bioinformatics and Computational
Biology, and may include talks of a tutorial nature if
appropriate. Workshop organizers should seek submissions in one
or both of the categories accepted by the main symposium:
extended abstracts of up to 12 pages in Springer LNCS format and
short abstracts of up to 4 pages. Workshop submissions must be
made electronically at
https://www.easychair.org/login.cgi?conf=isbra2010 where
separate submission tracks will be set-up for each workshop. The
submission and review process of each workshop should follow the
timeline of the main symposium:

Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the symposium
proceedings published as a volume of Springer-Verlag's Lecture
Notes in Bioinformatics series and presented orally at the
symposium. Accepted short abstracts will be published online and
on CD-ROM and may be selected for either oral or poster
presentation. Workshop organizers are encouraged to make
arrangements for publishing special journal issues devoted to
full versions of the abstracts presented at the workshop.
