We would like to announce a symposium entitled: "Calculating Changes in
Free Energy in Computer Simulations: Methods and Applications" at the
ICCMSE2014 (10th International Conference for Computational Methods in
Sciences and Engineering). The conference will take place from the 4th
to the 7th of April 2014 at the Metropolitan Hotel in Athens, Greece
(http://www.iccmse.org).
The aim of this symposium is to present recent developments of
algorithms to calculate free energy differences, as well as,
applications from different fields (biological systems, material
science, drug design, chemical reactions, etc.) that make use of the
evaluation of free energies. The symposium will consist of a series of
oral communications and a poster session. There are still few spaces

The Proceedings of ICCMSE2014 will be published in a special volume of
AIP (American Institute of Physics) Conference Proceedings.
