CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
6th IEEE International Conference on Computatio= nal
Advances in Bio and Medical Sciences (ICCABS)
October 13-15, Georgia Institute of Technology,= Atlanta, GA, USA
Advances in high-throughput technologies such as DNA s= equencing and
mass spectrometry are profoundly transforming life sciences, resulting in the collection of unprecedented amounts of biological and
medi= cal data. Using this data to advance our knowledge about
fundamental biolog= ical processes and improve human health requires
novel computational models= and advanced analysis algorithms. IEEE
ICCABS aims to bring together leadi= ng academic and industry
researchers to discuss the latest advances in comp= utational methods
for bio and medical sciences.
This year program will include regular papers and post= ers. In
addition, we also have the following two workshops:
6th Workshop on Computational Advances for Next Genera= tion
Sequencing (CANGS 2016) and 5th Workshop on Computational Advances in
= Molecular Epidemiology (CAME 2016)
There will be three Plenary Keynote Talks from:
* Russel Schwartz (CMU)
* May Wang (Georgia Tech and Emory University)
* Cathy H. Wu (Univ. of Delaware)
There will also be seven Plenary Invited Talks from:
* Mukul Bansal (Univ. of Connecticut)
* Krishna Karuturi (Jackson Lab)
* Yury Khudyakov (CDC)
* Yuk Yee Leung (Univ. of Pennsylvania)
* Rahul Singh (San Francisco State University)
* Jejune Tang (Univ. of South Carolina)
* Ellen Tsai (Partners)
You are welcome to attend this premier conference. Reg= istration
details can be found in iccabs.org.
Some number of student travel awards are also availabl= e. Details can
be found in the above web site.
