Lycos is carrying a Greenpeace story about an old nuclear waste
dumpsite in the English Channel.

Less than 100 metres seems a remarkably shallow depth for disposing of
hazardous waste. Still, at least they just fouled their own local nest
(assuming the French did it too, though the story only fingers the Brits).
