My name is Christophe Fontanier. I am a new associate professor in the
University of Angers (France). I work in the Laboratory of Recent and
Fossil Bio-Indicators where we use benthic foraminifera (from shallow to
deep environments) in ecological and paleo-ecological studies. I
particularly enjoy working in deep-sea forams.
I would be very interested in getting contact with people working in marine
microbiology (e.g. heterotrophic and chemiotrophic bacteria within marine
sediment...). Moreover, I would like to discuss with people dealing with
deep-sea holothurian. Would you know some people who could help me? I hope
that my "requests"do not seem too provocative!
You will find attached a very short CV explaining who I am... as you will
see "I am a man trying to make my way in these Universe."
Anyway, I am very happy to belong to this rather nebulous "mail-web".
