We are developing an assay for myeloperoxidase (MPO) in human granulocytes.
Current concept is to isolate WBC from whole blood using Pall Leucocyte
filter. Then lyse the WBC to release the MPO and use hydrogen peroxide as
substrate, TMB as chromogen.
But Pall leucocyte filter is very very expensive. Anybody has any experience
with other material for this purpose?
