FlyBase Update (Species list and Redbook corrections)

FlyBase Updates:

An updated catalog of Drosophilid species has just been made available
by Dr. G. Baechli of the University of Zurich.

The file is: flybase/allied-data/species.txt on ftp.bio.indiana.edu.

This is an alphabetical list of 3326 'valid' species in the family
Drosophilidae.  See flybase/allied-data/species.doc for more information.

In addition, a revised version of the file flybase/docs/redbook/errors.txt
has been made available.

This is a file of over 1300 errors (typographical and otherwise) found in
Lindsley & Zimm (1992) "The Genome of Drosophila melanogaster."
