FlyBase Update (cosmid clones)

FlyBase update.  March 28 1994

An updated list of Drosophila cosmids, from the European Drosophila
Mapping Project, has been released to the FlyBase fileserver.

The file flybase/clones/cosmids.txt is a list, sorted by polytene
chromosome position, of 2249 in situ mapped cosmid clones.

The documentation is in the file flybase/clones/cosmids.doc.

Both files are available by gopher or anonymous ftp from the FlyBase
server:
      
          ftp.bio.indiana.edu

The cosmids are freely available on request by email to:

           inga at nefelh.imbb.forth.gr
