Enzyclopedia on UNIX?

Colleagues, 

I was asked to produce a demo for the Enzyclopedia of Drosphila on 
a Computer. The code on the CD-ROM seems to be (Power)Mac only. I would
appreciate any  pointer whether it is/will be possible to run this on a UNIX
flavour OS.
