Postdoc position available to study the homolog of the myb oncogene in 
Drosophila.  Our laboratory studies the myb oncogene primarily in vertebrates 
(chickens), however, the power of beast genetics calls.  We have already 
established a collaboration with Matthew Scott's laboratory here at Stanford 
and there is a relatively large and active fly community on campus.  In 
exchange for your fly expertise, we can teach you about retroviruses, 
oncogenes, and vertebrate cell biology.  Applicants must be U.S. citizens or 
permanent residents and have no more than one year of previous postdoc 
experience in order to qualify for an NIH training grant.
