I am not an expert on drosophila but we maintain  a website for           
Jerry Tresser who breeds drosophila.  That website is:

Unfortunately Jerry only lists an 800 (1-800-545-2303)tel.dialable only    
from within the US but also lists a faxline on which you can send him
a written request for info.  I suggest if you have any  technical
questions on drosophila not answered on our simple website you
post them to  bionet.drosophila newgroup.
