Can anyone tell me if the cytomegalovirus promoter or the SV40 late promoter are functional in insect cells in culture? I was unable to find information about the function of pCMV or pSV40 in insect cells from Medline.Perhaps the information is not known, too new, or stupid me is just not looking in the right places.
