Did anybody try Luciferase in Drosophila ?

We are very interested in a method to identify living mutant Embryos at
gastrula stage for more efficient transplantation experiments. Since GFP
seems to be too slow for that purpose I was wondering if anybody has tried
the luciferase system in Drosophila. In principle it should be no problem
to inject luciferin together with our lineage tracer. Does anybody know
about experiments with luciferase in Drosophila?
