embryos staining...

I am currently doing antibody-staining on embryos of D. melanogaster using
the Vactastain ABC kit (horseradish peroxidase). They mention in the kit
instructions that in the presence of nickel ions, the precipitate formed by
DAB is grey/blac; this would result in an easier identification of the
cells marked by reaction. Does anyone knows which concentration of Nickel
ions is best to use? Any help with this question or any other aspect of
embryos staining will be appreciated.

						Thanks,
