The Department of Zoology, University of Toronto invites applications for
a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin July 1, 1997.
We are particularly interested in applicants using molecular and genetic
approaches to problems in development. The Department of Zoology has
traditional strengths in Cell/Developmental Biology, Evolution, Ecology, and
Animal Physiology, which provide a stimulus for interdisciplinary
interactions. The successful applicant is expected to develop an
internationally recognized research program and to teach at the undergraduate
and graduate level. Applicants with a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience in
a relevant field should send a curriculum vitae and a one-page statement of
future research plans, and arrange for three letters of reference to be sent to:
