The Harvard Machine Shop makes fantastic CO2 pads. i just started using a fancy one that is covered with a removeable/cleanable NYTEX filter that is locked into a frame. cleaning is a snap, and the flies never stick to the surface. The cost for me last month was $75. --Jay.
