Why does sperm storage (treated with alkylating agents such as EMS) in
females effect the types of mutations recovered. Ashburner states that
when sperm treated with EMS are stored in the female reproductive tract,
there is an increase in the number of chromosome aberrations recovered
vs. point mutations. I'm not exactly clear why . Can someone explain it
to me?
Best regards,
Andrea
