help! synchronizing egg hatching

I am currently planning a study of drug induced changes of longevity in 
drosophila, part of which will involve drug treatment of larvae and 
subsequent measurement of longevity in adults. As such I am interested in 
the possibility of synchronizing hatching of eggs. If anyone knows of 
such a method or has any advice/suggestions please contact me at the
